What is a Redirect?

The term redirect means URL forwarding. It is a mechanism in the World Wide Web (WWW) that directs users and search engines from one URL (web address) to a different one (destination). 

For example, If you click on a shortened or non-shortened link, and it directs you to another destination, it is called a redirect.

  • Direct

  • Link Cloaking - Link Masking
